What to expect Three things this office is built on

A lot of people are nervous calling a lawyer.

Nobody here wants that. Whether you are planning ahead or settling things after a loss, and whether the house is in Reno or on the California side of the line, three things hold.

We explain what the documents do.

Nobody should leave a meeting unsure what they signed. Each document is walked through before you sign it.

The cost comes before the work.

Estate plans are quoted as a single flat fee at the consultation. For probate and real estate, how the work is priced and how payment works is settled at the first meeting. All Estate Planning Consults are free of charge.

Northern Nevada, born and raised.

Galena High School and the University of Nevada, Reno graduate, and home to practice in 2018. Probate here runs through the Second Judicial District Court, and that is where Jenny works.

The first call Nothing to prepare

Say it in ordinary words. The legal name can come later.

Call, or send the form.

The office calls you back. There is no calendar to pick from and nothing to book; a person reads what you sent and picks up the phone.

Describe what’s going on.

In your words, in whatever order it comes. You’ll hear which kind of matter it is, and if it isn’t something this office does, you’ll be told straight away.

Bring what you have.

A deed, a will, a notice, a folder nobody has opened yet. Nothing has to be organized.

Jenny was the most knowledgeable, kindest and considerate attorney we’ve ever worked with. She’s no shrinking violet, either. She knows her field and does not tolerate nonsense. I highly recommend her.
